Because they had to shoot multiple scenes, the studio wanted a faster solution for this problem. So, Pink thought of a nail design that would match everything. He decided to paint the nail tip with white color and then apply skin-color polish on the top of it.

Then why are people calling it “French”? Although Pink called his creation “The Natural Nail Look”. However, when he took part in Paris Fashion Week in 1978, he decided to call it “French Manicure”.

This gained massive attention through many Hollywood stars, magazines and TV shows, and within a few years it become soo popular. After that, people started talking about it and within a few years it gained spotlight.

Process

It begins with cleaning and shaping the natural shape of nails.
